Governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, on Tuesday night, emerged as new Chairman of Nigeria Governor's Forum (NGF).

Abdulrazaq takes over from the former Speaker of the House of Representatives and Sokoto State governor, Rt. Hon. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, as NGF chairman. Tambuwal, in turn, took over from Ekiti State governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi.

Governor Abdulrazaq was elected new chairman of the body through a consensus arrangement in Abuja during a conclave of Nigeria governors in the 36 states of Nigeria on Tuesday. NNL.
