As the victorious People's Democratic Party (PDP) continues in its victory dance on Sunday, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo has so far rejected the results of the Saturday's governorship election, which gave PDP's Governor Godwin Obaseki victory over his APC challenger, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu.

As the vote counting in the just concluded Edo state election process continues, the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC), has raised alarm that the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state was of falsifying figures and producing what it described as fake results. It urged the public to ignore such results.

Following an alleged directive on the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, by the Inspector General of Police, Muhammed Adamu, to quickly find his way out of Edo State ahead of the voting process, the governor insists that he was going no where, claiming that other APC Governors like those of Kano and Imo States (Ganduje and Uzodinma) were also in Edo state to monitor the same election.

As the Edo and Ondo State's governorship elections finally kicks off, there are strong apprehensions that poll offenders might mar the process of a credible poll in the two states.
