The Bauchi State Contributory Pension Commission has announced the commencement of bank cheque distribution to state employees who retired in March 2013 following the approval of their gratuities by the state government.
The Executive Secretary of the Commission, Alhaji Ibrahim Inuwa, said the exercise would begin on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at the Commission’s office in Bauchi.
He explained that the Commission has finalized all logistical arrangements to ensure an orderly and efficient disbursement in accordance with the state’s Contributory Pension Scheme.
Alhaji Inuwa urged beneficiaries to present all relevant documents during the collection process, noting that the initiative aligns with ongoing efforts to clear pension backlogs and improve service delivery.
The announcement was conveyed in a statement signed by the Commission’s Information Officer, Huraira Garba, on behalf of the Executive Secretary. NNL.
