The new Abia State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Commandant Odimba Chukwuemeka Nicholson, on Wednesday, paid a courtesy visit to the Commissioner of Police, Abia State Command, CP Danladi Isa, at the Command Headquarters, Umuahia.
The visit which was geared towards enhancing safety and maintaining public order across Abia State, was aimed at reinforcing existing collaboration and deepening strategic synergy between the Police Command and the Civil Defence Corps, with a focus on intelligence sharing and coordinated responses to security challenges.
According to the Police Command's Spokesperson, DSP Maureen Chioma Chinaka, the Commissioner of Police welcomed the State Commandant and his team and assured them of continued cooperation, mutual support and sustained inter-agency partnership in promoting peace, safety and effective security service delivery across the State.
