Against all odds, Professor Bart Nnaji is a hero of true democracy. A man whose pedigree transcends beyond the shores of our Nation Nigeria. It’s a blessing to have a man like him come from this part of the world. God planted him here for such a time as this.
Needless to emphasize much about his personality and personal achievement, however a prophet is without honor only in his own home and amongst his people. Prof. Bart Nnaji is not a divisive person as painted by some paid propagandist who know little or nothing about the political history of Nkanu land. But he is rather a unifying factor for all Nkanu people especially the neglected and downtrodden amongst us irrespective of the Amadu or Odenigbo inclination.
For those of you selling lies and deceptive falsehood just to create a suitable paradigm and narrative for your selfish gain against the Enugu people have failed on arrival.
Those of you who paint Prof. Bart Nnaji as evil and divisive just to tarnish his image have only accepted that Prof is superior to all of your sponsors.
From 1999 till today, can those propagating this narrative mention one person who is termed as Odenigbo from Nkanu land who have become a Local government chairman in Nkanu West, Nkanu East, Enugu East, Enugu south, until recently when an Ugwuaji person was appointed chairman of Enugu south against the desire of the Amechi people who claim to be superior.
How many Odenigbo‘s have had the opportunity to become a Member of House of Rep, Senator or even Governor. The former deputy Governor, Sunday Onyebuchi was only impeached because he is an Odenigbo and should not succeed his principal during the sick days of Governor Sullivan Chime, who they thought will not survive. To make the matters worse, he was perceived to be nursing a senatorial ambition, hence he was impeached.
May I at this juncture say a big congratulations to all the so called Odenigbo’s who through the Labour Party as SPV won their various constituency elections and those who will still win in the forthcoming. Kindly use your victory to serve every body in your constituents both the so called Odenigbo’s and Amadu.
