- * Inducts Kingsley Onuorah Chukwudi As New President

The Rotary Club of Abuja Kubwa Gateway, district 9125, has inducted its new president, Kingsley Onuorah Chukwudi, to serve for 2023/2024 of the Rotary year.
Chukwudi's investiture which held at the weekend, had a few dignitaries along with key officials of the club in attendance at the ceremony.
The ceremony which had it's highlights with the presentation of awards to some worthy members of the club and the society, had it's core values in humanitarian activities for the less privileged in the society.
Chukwudi, in his inaugural address, unveiled his plans for the Rotary year, stressing the need for Safe drinking-water, sanitation and hygiene, which, according to him, is crucial to human health and well-being. He said, " Safe WASH is not only a prerequisite to health, but contributes to the over all healthy living of the society".
Chukwudi also said, “We will engage in many community services in our adopted community of Dutse Alhaji", while also stressing that the fundraising was in efforts to put in place for water sanitation. He added that the club would be collaborating with some organisations to ensure the actualization of the project.
“We serve to change lives and that is why we have identified projects that will change lives; we have evaluated them and made analysis and we have decided to raise the sum of N20 million towards our water sanitation project.
He reiterated the club's commitment to working with communities around Bwari area council to ensure the much needed intervention in health, education, environment and sanitation and many other social amenities with collaboration of various organizations. NNL.
