Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, on Wednesday night, hosted the six First Class Emirs and District Heads on Ramadan breakfast, at the Banquet Hall, Bauchi Government House, in Bauchi.
Speaking, during the iftar breakfast, Governor Mohammed appreciated the sportsmanship exhibited by the traditional institutions during the recent presidential and gubernatorial elections, saying their dedication to the development of Nigeria and Bauchi state was meritorious.
While thanking the Royal Fathers led by the Emir of Bauchi, the governor assured them of the readiness of his administration to support them in the discharge of their responsibilities effectively and efficiently for the benefit of the citizenry.
Earlier speaking, His Royal Highness, Emir of Bauchi, Alhaji (Dr) Rilwanu Suleiman Adamu, applauded governor Bala Mohammed for his outstanding performance and contribution to the institutions, saying the gesture will be reciprocated by supporting his administration's policies and programmes. NNL
