The Governing Board, Federal University of Agriculture Zuru in Kebbi State has approved the appointment of Professor Ibrahim Rakson Muhammad as the new Vice Chancellor of the Ivory tower for a tenure of five years.

Breaking the news in Kebbi, the registrar of the institution, Abudulaziz Yusuf Bazata said, the Governing Board of the university conducted interview for the vacant seat following which Professor Ibrahim Rakson Muhammad eventually emerged as the Vice Chancellor.

Giving insights on Prof. Rakson, the university image maker, Abdulaziz, said the new Vice Chancellor is a professor of Animal science for over 30 years and also has been in the university system for over 3 decades.

Continuing, Abdulaziz said the new VC who is to serve for 5 years was before his appointment the Dean, Faculty of Agriculture at the University.

He further disclosed that, the Federal University of Agriculture, Zuru has also appointed Mr Abdulrasheed Atanda Ahmed as the University Bursar.

Before Amanda's appointment, he was the Deputy Bursar , University of Ilorin and has accounting experience for over 30 years. NNL.
