The National Directorate of Employment (NDE) in Taraba State, has started the registration of unemployed youths and physically disabled persons across all the wards of the state and local governments.
During the exercise in Jalingo, the NDE state coordinator, Alhaji Danjuma Shehu, on behalf of the Director General of the NDE, urged all unemployed youths to come out for the registration.
According to him, the registration commenced on Monday 17th April to 5th May , 2023. The exercise is being conducted at the NDE state office in Jalingo and 16 local government areas of the state respectively.
He charged all the unemployed youths across the state to use the available opportunity to register in their different local government.
“The Registration of unemployed youth will be across all wards in Taraba, beginning on 17 April, to 5th May, in all the the local governments. We urge all the unemployed youths to come out for the registration.
“Registration is free, all interested persons both men and women with physical challenge within the age bracket of 15 years and 45 years should come out and register. Qualifications include school drop out, primary, secondary and tertiary education. Required skills are vocational and entrepreneurship”, he said. NNL.
