The Bala Wunti Support Organisation (BWSO) has reaffirmed its dedication to advancing women’s empowerment in Bauchi State as part of a long-term vision for socio-economic development.

In a statement marking International Women’s Day, BWSO highlighted Dr Bala Wunti’s forward-looking programs aimed at expanding women’s access to education, promoting entrepreneurship, and ensuring equal participation in governance and economic activities.

The organisation stressed that empowering women is a cornerstone for building stronger families, thriving communities, and a more secure future. Past initiatives include humanitarian support for widows, young girls, and internally displaced persons, alongside community-based programs that enhance livelihoods and dignity.

BWSO called on government, development partners, and community leaders to create an enabling environment where women can realize their full potential and contribute meaningfully to Bauchi State’s growth. NNL.
