A Town Hall Meeting organized by Business Hallmark Newspaper's Public Policy Forum scheduled to take place on Tuesday, May 25, 2021, has been postponed until further notice.
The Town Hall Meeting was expected to unveil, by bringing to public focus, the silent Infrastructural Revolution of the President Muhammadu Buhari administration in Nigeria since coming to power on May 29, 2015.
The event billed to take place at the Shehu Musa Yar'Adua Center, Abuja, will be anchored by BBC TalkShow Host, Steve Sakure, Mr. Alex Oti, a foremost economist, politician, and former Group Managing Director of Diamond Bank Plc. The Town Hall Meeting would also celebrate the administration's notable champions of Infrastructural development at the federal and state levels.
A notice of the postponement of the Business Hallmark Newspaper's Public Policy Forum Town Hall Meeting was issued in a statement on Monday, May 24, 2021, by the chairman of the Public Policy Forum, Sir (Chief) Marc Nwagbara.
According to Nwagbara, the notice "is to inform guests, speakers, and the general public, that Business Hallmark Newspaper's Public Policy Forum Town Hall Meeting billed to hold at the Shehu Musa YarAdua Centre, Abuja tomorrow, May 25, 2021, has been postponed till further notice.
'The postponement is due to days of national mourning declared by the Federal Government to honor the memory and services of the late Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Ibrahim Attahiru, and other senior military officers and service members who lost their lives in the ill-fated Beachcraft 350 plane crash of Friday, May 21, 2021.
"All inconveniences are regretted. A new date for the event will be announced soon", the statement said. NNL.
