Death has occurred on Chief Ezeoba Dom Menihu Chuks-Nwosu, aged 93 years. The late Ezeoba Chuks-Nwosu is the father of Dr Eloka Chuks-Nwosu, a Deputy Director with the Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE), Abuja.
A statement by the deceased's family on Tuesday signed by the BPE Deputy Director, Dr Eloka Chuks-Nwosu, said the demised patriarch was a retired Deputy Registra of Cooperatives in the old Anambra state, comprising Enugu, Anambra and Ebonyi states.
This position enabled him to establish Cooperative Societies in the old Eastern region for the empowerment of low income workers, especially rural woman. The late Ezeoba Chuks-Nwosu was also a former Board Member of the Aguata Mass Transit Company Limited upon retirement from active service in the Anambra state civil service.
According to the family's statement, the late Ezeoba Chuks-Nwosu was a devout Christian and community leader who pioneered numerous developmental projects in his community, Achina in Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State, including playing pivotal roles in the political education and development of the Aguata Local Government.
He is survived by many relations amongst who is Dr Eloka Chuks-Nwosu, a Deputy Director with the Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE), Abuja. The statement said the late Ezeoba Dom Chuks-Nwosu's funeral ceremony will be held in his Osuofia villa compound on Friday, November 6, 2020, beginning with a requiem mass at 10am. NNL.
