The Bauchi State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Credibility Forum has held a meeting with one of the party’s governorship aspirants, Dr. Madan Nura Manu Soro, as part of efforts to strengthen internal unity ahead of forthcoming elections.
Speaking after the meeting, the Secretary of the Bauchi State APC Credibility Forum and Chairman from Alkaleri Local Government Area, Hon. Tahiru Mohammed Jamda, said the engagement was aimed at putting the party’s affairs in order as the election draws nearer.
According to him, the forum is engaging all aspirants to address issues that could create division within the party and threaten its chances at the polls. Jamda explained that similar meetings would be held with other aspirants, noting that the forum already has appointments with nearly all of them.
“At the end of the day, we will sit together to ensure that every aspirant understands his position, so that no misunderstanding will hinder our victory,” he said.
He expressed confidence that the APC would emerge victorious in Bauchi State and across the country, citing widespread public acceptance and the calibre of party stakeholders involved in the reconciliation process. NNL.
