The 2026 Physical and Credential Screening Exercise, which commenced on 9th March 2026 and is scheduled to run until 18th April 2026, is still ongoing at the Police Officers’ Mess, opposite Damgrete Hotel, Factory Road, Umuahia.
Below are updates and summary of applicants screened from 7th April to date, 11th April 2026, according to a release by the Abia State Police Command's Spokesperson, DSP Maureen Chioma Chinaka:
•Tuesday (Day 21): 7th April– 52 applicants
•Wednesday (Day 22): 8th April – 44 applicants
•Thursday (Day 23): 9th April – 53 applicants
•Friday (Day 24): 10th April – 52 applicants
•Saturday (Day 25): 11th April – 54 applicants
Total Applicants Screened for the Week: 255
The screening exercise has been progressing smoothly and concluded successfully for the week today,11th April 2026 . Activities resumed Monday, 13th April 2026. NNL.
