Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed, has described the Director General of the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC), Alhaji Balarabe Shehu Ilelah, as one of the few indigenes of the state that are adequately representing the state well and making it proud in the eyes of the nation and the global community.
Governor Mohammed gave the recommendations while receiving the DG at the Government House in Bauchi.
The governor said despite political party differences, Balarabe Shehu Ilelah is maintaining cordial relationships with his administration and supporting all initiatives geared towards the development of the state.
The former FCT minister, however, used the medium to called on others heading various Ministries, Departments and Agencies at the federal level to emulate the DG for the overall interest of the state and the country as a whole.
On his part, the Director General NBC who said he was at the Government House to felicitate with the Governor on the occasion of the Eid-El Fitr Celebration, maintained that he placed the interest of the state above politics.
He also applauded the governor for what he described as the huge investment made in critical aspects of health, education, agriculture and infrastructure, in both rural and urban areas.
Governor Bala Mohammed, during the Sallah festival, received high-profile individuals, groups and organizations. NNL.
