A Yobe State based Journalist's group known as Bomai Press Corp, on Sunday, converged at the Multi-purpose hall of the Federal College of Education (Technical) in Potiskum to celebrate what they described as "the stunning achievements" of Senator Ibrahim Muhammed Bomai.
Senator Bomai is a lawmaker of the upper legislative chamber of the National Assembly, Abuja, who has represented Yobe South Senatorial district of Yobe State comprising four local government areas of Fune, Fika, Potiskum and Nangere respectively since 2019 general elections.

The event attracted important personalities, politicians, youth and women organizations, members of the business community, stakeholders, friends and associates of Senator Ibrahim Muhammed Bomai.
Abubakar Tamana, one of the legislative aides to the lawmaker who opened the event, said it has become necessary for the lawmaker and his team to assemble the electorates of the senatorial district to give a mid-term account of Bomai's stewardship and some of the success he has recorded from 2019 to 2022 in order to inform them about those achievements.
He revealed that Senator Bomai has so far distinguished himself in the parliament and has facilitated numerous people-oriented projects which includes construction of Gadan Talakawa to Arikime road, Tandari, Comprehensive, Jujin oc, yan kuka, Emir's Palace road repair. Other achievements of the Senator listed includes the installation of solar street lights in rural areas of Fune, Nangere, Potiskum and Fika.
On water provision, the aide said that "the Senator has attracted huge Ngeji, Gadaka and Fika water project, drilling of boreholes in several communities, Potiskum township water reticulation, provision of ICT centers in secondary and tertiary schools, supply and installation of electric transformers, training of Youths on ICT and other skills; youth and women development programmes that comprises of distribution of cars among others too numerous to mention".
He assured that "the Senator is vigorously pursuing series of other people-oriented projects which will benefit our people. We are appreciative of the support we are receiving from our amiable and unique leader, Governor Mai Mala Buni and other cabinet members, we will continue to partner with the state citizens for more developments", Senator Bomai's aide stated.
