Noval Marley who was a British citizen and a plantation overseer who was on a working visit to Jamaica, met one beautiful tenaager called Cedella Booker who was a black tenaager from Jamaica.
Cedella Booker's beauty attracted Noval Marley, the British. He entered into a cohabitation with Cedella and fortunately or unfortunately, Cedella Booker became pregnant and it was a big blow to Norval.
Due to racism, the Jamaicans wanted to kill Norval Marley who impregnated Cedella. They became very upset for a British to impregnate a Jamaican teenager. This compelled Norval to returne to Britain on a Nicodemus root because of the attacks which was coming on him by the Jamaicans.
After Cedella Booker carried the baby in her womb for nine months, she delivered peacefully on Thursday afternoon, February 6th, 1945, at Saint Ann in Jamaica. The baby was named after his father who was no where to be found at Jamaica. The child was named Robert Nesta Marley.
When the younger child grew up, he was briefed that his father is a British and ran away from the mother after impregnating her due to persecution from some of the family members of Cedella Booker.
