Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed, has said that his Rivers state counterpart, Nyesom Wike, is a friend, compatriot and a good leader with a phase of leadership in governance at the national level.

Mohammed made this known while commissioning the Rumuigbo township road constructed by Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, where he added that his zero tolerance for corruption deserves accolades and praises.

He commended Wike for his outstanding performance in infrastructure, saying his commitment, capacity and sportsmanship should be acknowledged.

Earlier speaking, Rivers state governor, Barrister Nyesom Wike, said if delivery and provision of dividends of democracy are appreciated, Governor Bala Mohammed would always be a role model to other governors in Nigeria.

Wike said having seen Governor Bala's Mohammed's numerous developmental projects during his recent visit to Bauchi, he had never doubted nor lost confidence in him.

While congratulating governor Bala Mohammed on his re-election victory, Wike applauded him for honouring the invitation to commission the township road, saying Bauchi will witness massive infrastructure in the second tenure of the governor. NNL.
