Hundreds of enthusiastic spectators received the Labour Party (LP) Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi and his Vice, Dr Datti Ahmed, in the ancient town of Numan, Adamawa State.

Stakeholders of the party from Southern Senatorial District comprising Toungo, Ganye, Jada, Mayo Belwa, Numan, Lamurde, Demsa, Guyuk, Shelleng and Lamurde Local Governments, all gathered at the Makwada Square stadium in Numan to receive the August visitors which included Peter Obi, Datti Ahmed, Aisha Yesufu, Babachir David Lawal, Prof Pat Utomi, amongst other thousands of students, unionist and AASU members.

Before moving to the palace of the Hama Bachama, he was also decorated into Bachama traditional attire by his High Royal Majesty Homun Daniel Shagga, in the present of eminent personalities of the Bachama kingdom and District heads of the area.

While speaking at the Makwada Stadium, Peter Obi, assured the large turnout of people that Nigeria will make a new discovery if Labour Party is elected on 25th February 2023.

Also speaking, Datti Ahmed and Aisha Yesufu, Pat Utomi, urged all Nigerians to rally round Peter Obi's presidential campaign team to ensure that he is elected President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Peter Obi was airlifted by Bristow helicopters to Adamawa Northern Senatorial District with headquarters in Mubi where he visited the Emir of Mubi, His Royal Highness Abubakar Isa Ahmadu.

He addressed the people and supporters of Labour Party in a town hall meeting before he departed to Yola the state capital.

The Labour Party Presidential candidate departed Mubi to the palace of the Lamido of Adamawa, HRH Barkindo Aliyu Mustapha. From the palace of the Lamido, he departed to the Yola International Airport. NNL.
