The Commissioner of Police, Enugu State Command, CP Mamman Bitrus Giwa, has conducted an on-the-spot assessment of the Police Constable Recruitment Written Examination at the Police Detective College, Enugu, where shortlisted applicants are participating.

The Commissioner expressed satisfaction with the level of organization and compliance with guidelines set by the Police Service Commission (PSC) and the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), but stressed the need for strict adherence to due process, transparency, and merit to ensure only qualified candidates emerge successful.

Giwa cautioned personnel deployed for the exercise against misconduct, compromise, or favouritism, warning that such acts will not be tolerated.

He noted that the process is being closely monitored to guarantee credibility and fairness in line with the vision of the Chairman of the Police Service Commission and the Inspector-General of Police, while also urging candidates to remain orderly and rely solely on their preparation.
